So you’re right in the middle of your favorite show watching intently then with no warning, you hear that horrible sound, aaannntt aaannnnt annnnnnnnnnnt as the banner rides across the top of the screen and your programs audio is cut off and replaced by a voice eerily similar to Steven Hawking,  who proceeds to give you warnings about storms miles from where you’re located.

There was a recent story about one of these occurrences happening during the World Cup soccer game that sent some viewers into the stratosphere with anger.

I think most of us want to be warned about damaging storms that are heading towards us, but is there a better way to do this?

These warnings have come so frequent at times that they completely ruin your favorite program, in other words sometimes they go way too far.

We live in the most technical country on the planet and we can’t install a by pass button on the remote or TV that will give us the choice of listening to the warnings or by passing the sound and/or the banner at the top.

There has to be a alternative to responsive weather statements that completely ruin your television viewing experience.
