Why Does Holly Dagger Like Halloween So Much?

Halloween has always been my favorite holiday for as long as I can remember. It was never about the candy for me, even as a child. I didn't even particularly like candy! I think it's because, when we are young, our parents always say you can be whatever you want to be when you grow up. Well, let's be honest, that isn't completely true. Except for on Halloween.

Halloween gives everyone the opportunity to be whatever and whoever they want for a night with no judgement what so ever. I don't think I've ever heard someone say they had a bad Halloween. Because it probably isn't true. Maybe I will never be Marilyn Monroe because that simply isn't possible but I can dress up and pretend to be her on Halloween and no one would think any less of me.
