Who Knew Gas and Fire Don’t Mix Well [WATCH]

Some things in life you'd think are pretty common knowledge.

But in a world containing a few billion people, I guess you have to expect that some of that common knowledge slips through the cracks.

Take for example, this person who thought it would be just fine to light up her cigarette lighter while pumping gas and placing next to the nozzle. Why exactly she was doing this is anyone guess, and I imagine the people in the vehicle behind he,r had the scare of their life!

So in conclusion, do not light fire near gas, turn off your engine at a gas station, and even though it is not a proven fact (static is usually the culprit to ignite fires) refrain from using your cellphone while pumping gas, just as a precaution.
