Who Are the Rock N Roll Hall of Fame Nominees This Year?

Well, well, well. It's time to see what the Rock HOF thinks is quality nominee material for their institution.

With all of the artists overlooked in the last few years, I am almost to the point of not caring. But, it's like a trainwreck; I can't turn away.

Lou Reed, Sting, Joan Jett & the Blackhearts, War, and Stevie Ray Vaughn are on the list.  What? They got something right?

The others up for the honor are Green Day, Nine Inch Nails, N.W.A., Paul Butterfield Blues Band, Bill Withers, the Smiths, Marvelettes, the Spinners, Chic and Kraftwerk.

Huh. Lots of Classic Rockers are on the list for a change. Last year's big change, fan voting is still in place. Just remember, that doesn't count for much, but vote anyway.

Over 700 ballots are in the mail and fan voting counts as one only. Voting wraps up on December 9th and the winners will be announced shortly after that.
