The US Treasury Department has announced that the $10 bill will be getting a makeover. Among the changes, the new bill will feature a woman's portrait.

Apparently this idea started with replacing Andrew Jackson on the $20 bill, but since the $10 bill is already in the restructuring process, they decided not to wait on placing a women on the first paper US currency since the 1866 silver certificate featured Martha Washington's portrait.

It is also noteworthy to mention there was a Susan B. Anthony dollar coin. This honored the 19th century feminist and was minted from 1979 to 1981. However, in 1999 the series was halted due to poor public reception.

The new bill will be unveiled in 2020, which will be the 100th anniversary of the 19th amendment (which gave women the right to vote).

The $10 question though is, which woman's face will be on the new bill?

There are so many women throughout history that could be considered for this honor.

Some of the popular choices include Harriet Tubman, who was the winner of the $20 bill selection. This was before they decided to switch to the $10 bill, but she's still a great choice.

First lady Eleanor Roosevelt, woman's activists Susan B. Anthony and Rosa Parks are also in the forefront.

So who do you think should join the ranks of dead presidential figures on US Currency?
