It's going to be another great weekend in the Southern Tier and there are plenty of ways to enjoy it.

The Animal Care Council is having an indoor garage sale on Saturday at the Show Place Kmart Plaza in Binghamton at 8:30 am. Bag sale is at noon. It's a great cause so come out!

And how about having a whole town of goodies to look through? Well, Cincinnatus is having a town wide yard sale on Saturday from 9 am to 3 pm. rain or shine. Maps are available at the Cincinnatus Home Center, the Fire Department and Rural Services Farmers market. Enjoy a day of finding treasures!

If you like food and bargains, stop by the Nimmonsburg United Methodist Church, 918 Upper Front St in Binghamton. They're having a chicken barbeque on Saturday at 11:30 am. Eat in or take out. There is also a rummage and bake sale at the church on Saturday from 9 am to 3 pm with an all day bag sale.

Looks like there's going to be a party at Ogden-Hillcrest UMC,1061 Chenango Street in Binghamton. It's time for their chicken barbecue and Junefest at the church on Saturday from 11 am til 3 pm (or sold out). Yum!

The iconic St. Anthony's Bazaar is going on through June 9th! It's at the church on Odell Ave in Endicott. The event is loaded with live music, Italian specialty foods, games and family fun!

Since it's planting season, you might want to add the Oxford Garden Club's annual plant sale to your list. There is a wide assortment of plants to make your landscape look lush and lovely. It's at LaFayette park from 9 am to noon.

This event is different and very cool. Mother Earth is holding their 9th annual Indian Festival on Saturday and Sunday from 10 am to 5 pm in the Ball Flats in Greene! Learn about Native Americans through demonstrations in full regalia, drumming, singing, craft vendors and food. Admission is simply a non-perishable food item for the local food pantries.  Bring the family.

Being a supporter of the American Legion Riders, I have to mention that the Endicott Legion Riders Post 1700 has their Poker Run tomorrow. Registration 9-11:30 with kickstands up at noon. $20 per rider food and music afterwards. Get out and ride.
Love homemade goodies? It's time for a craft festival at Spring park in Richfield Springs! It happens on Saturday from 9 am to 4 pm with Brooks BBQ from noon to 3 pm, a bake sale and tons of crafts!

Giving a helping hand is always rewarding, so stop by this benefit for Trip,a wrestler from Buffalo that wrestles locally. He fractured his neck needs help paying medical bills.
Spaghetti dinner on Sunday 1-5pm at American Legion Post 80. Silent auctions, 50/50 $5.00 entrance fee.

For music: The Owego Community Chorus presents "Let Freedom Ring" on Sunday at 3pm at Lakeview Chapel on Day Hollow Rd in Owego. All are welcome so go enjoy.

Still hungry? All Saints Church, 42 Harry L. Drive in JC, is holding a take out chicken barbecue on Sunday from 10am til sold out. or stop by the chicken barbecue at American legion Post 1194, 363 West Service Road in Hillcrest.  It's rain or shine and runs from 11 am until the chicken is gone!
