It's time for more weekend fun! Living in the Southern Tier means there are plenty of activities to choose from. There are even opportunities to help your neighbors.

This is a favorite for me. Sponsoring a family is very rewarding. Tioga County Rural Ministry is taking Holiday food and gift sign ups now through the 31st. Includes children from infant to age 18. To sign up or adopt a family, call 687-3021.

Or you can get active while meeting new people. The City of Binghamton Parks & Rec. Department is accepting applications for men's and women's adult basketball and co-ed volleyball leagues. For details visit Binghamton-dash-ny-dot gov.

On Saturday, you can pick from these: The Church of the Holy Family, 3600 Phyllis Street in Endwell, hosts a craft fair from 11 am to 6 pm. Find great Christmas presents for friends and family! The Maine American Legion Post #1390, hosts a chicken & biscuit dinner from 4 to 7 pm. Or head to the Fairview United Methodist Church, 254 Robinson Street in Binghamton. They also have a chicken & biscuit dinner! It's from 4 to 6 pm.
