If you are looking for a holiday activity to enjoy, you are certainly going to find one this weekend in the Southern Tier. We are not lacking for food events either!

Here are some things to take in:

The Vestal Community Chorus presents Holiday Harmony on Saturday at 7 pm at the Calvary United Methodist Church, 3505 Vestal Parkway East. Donations appreciated.

A pancake breakfast hosted by the Hospitality Club will be at St. Cyril & Methodius, 148 Clinton Street in Binghamton, on  Sunday from 8 am to noon.

Santa in the Park, sponsored by the Endicott Sertoma Club will be held at George W. Johnson Park on Oak Hill Avenue from noon to 5 pm on Saturday. Visit with Santa, ride the carousel and enjoy music and refreshments. Please bring a donation for CHOW.

The Endicott Elks Club's Friday night dinner is lasagna along with their regular menu. Serving from 5 to 7 pm.

Maine American Legion Post 1390 is having breakfast with Santa from 8:30 am until noon on Saturday. It's free!

Binghamton Classic Films is showing "The Lady from Cheyenne" starring Loretta Young on Saturday at 7 pm at SUNY Broome's Titchner Hall.

The Maine Masonic Center is having a roast beef dinner on Saturday from 4:30 to 6 pm. take outs available.

Insight Archery, 73 Grisowld Street in Binghamton, is hosting their 5th Annual Toy Benefit Shoot on Sunday.  Line times are 9 am, 11:30 am and 2 pm. The tournament will be a Vegas 450 Round. classes are open with no restrictions. Entry fee is a $15 new in package toy or monetary donation. Donations go to the Binghamton Police Department for distribution.

The Community Hanukkah Celebration at JCC, 500 Clubhouse Road in Vestal, is December 18th from 5:15 to 7 pm. Reservations can be made by calling 724-2417.

YMCA Childcare Center is now enrolling all ages. For more information or to enroll, call 772-0560..

If you have fines at the Broome County Public Library, you can reduce them and help out CHOW! Between December 1st and the 31st, you will get $1 off your fines for each non-perishable food item you bring in. No fines? Bring food in to help CHOW anyway.
