Fall is creeping in but the fun is everywhere in the Southern Tier. Head out and enjoy some of the many activities this weekend. Some benefit a cause, which is always a good way to help a neighbor, and some are just for the fun of it!

Tonight is First Friday in downtown Binghamton. this is a great way to learn about the arts and restaurants in town. Browse and enjoy starting at 6 pm!

Tonight is also the Valley Dance at VFW Post 1536, 932 West Lockhart Street in Sayre, PA, from 7 to 11 pm. It's a fun way to meet new people.

This one is a big helper and close to my heart. The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention is hosting "Out of the Darkness Campus Walks" is tomorrow at the Montrose Jr/Sr High School at 11 am until 3. Check in is 9 to 11.

Grab dinner tonight at the Endicott Elks, 619 Nanticoke Ave.! Their weekly dinner features liver and onions and other menu items.

The Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 216 Kattelville Road in Chenango bridge, is hosting their annual arts and crafts fair tomorrow from 9 am to 4 pm. There will be many vendors with handmade artwork and crafts plus jewelry and more.

I married into an Irish family, so you know I will be stopping by this! It's the 30th annual Irish Festival at St. Francis Xavier Church in Friendsville, PA on Sunday! it begins with Mass at 11 am and the festival is noon to 7 pm with The Irish Lads, food, games, store and more. rain or shine.

For food, stop by the Vestal Center United Methodist Church, 478 West Hill Rd., for a chicken barbecue and bake sale. It's tomorrow from 11 am until 3 pm. Get there early!

For hunters, enjoy the 3rd annual Brushville Bowhunters Bonanza at the Brushville Baptist Church, 4572 Brushville Rd in Susquehanna, PA, tomorrow at 9 am. Try 3d courses, novelty shoots and grab lunch too. All ages are welcome.

For a scary good time, P.A.S.T. is holding auditions for their annual ghostly tour, Spirits of Binghamton's Past. Practice up and then be there on Tuesday at 6 pm at 85 Walnut Street. Monologue of 2 minutes or less please.

Blues on the Bridge is Sunday! This is a must see. it's at the corner of Riverside Drive and Washington Avenue in Binghamton. The music begins at noon. 13 bands and 100 vendors will be part of the fun.

If you are a pancake fan, hit up the all you can eat pancake breakfast at the Kirkwood Fire Company, 297 Main Street, on Sunday morning between 8 am and 2 pm.

We aren't done yet! There is also the Kid's Fishing Derby tomorrow at Cole Park in Harpursville from 10 am to 2 pm. Kids ages 1 - 15 years are invited. There will be raffles, free hot dogs and soda and more!

A vegetarian dinner is at the Seventh Day Adventist Church, 834 Bunn Hill Road in Vestal on Sunday from 4;30 to 6 pm.

For meat eaters, the Round Hill Masonic Center, 403 East main Street in Endicott, has a roast beef dinner on Sunday from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm. take outs are available.

And on Wednesday, the triangle Fire Company hosts a spaghetti dinner at 4:30 pm until gone.
