What’s Happening this Weekend in Binghamton

It's Independence Day weekend! That means lots of fireworks and events. Click the link at the bottom of the page for a list. Meanwhile, there are plenty of upcoming events in the coming week to enjoy.

The Valley Social Dance at the VFW Post 1536 Banquet Room, 932 Lockhart Street in Sayre, PA,  is Friday from 7-11.

On Friday, there will be a chicken and ribs sale by the O.L. Davis Fire Company in Endwell at Highland Park from noon to 6 pm. Drive thru take out will be at the Our Savior Lutheran Church, 731 Hooper Road.

Messy Adventures on the Hilltop, at the Seventh Day Adventist Church at 834 Bunn Hill Road in Vestal, is July 6th from 1 to 4 pm. It features music, games, crafts and stories.

The American Red Cross is holding blood drives at the Newark Valley Fire Station at 12:47 pm and at the United Methodist Church on Chapel Street in Windsor at 2 pm on Monday July 7th. There is a shortage of blood and your help is appreciated! For more blood drives, check our website.

The Warbirds over Delaware Airshow at Lums Pond in Kirkwood is July 9th through the 12th. It features certified and home built aero products.

Cartooning for Teens is taking place at the Broome County Public Library 10:30 to 11:30 am on July 9th. Registration required. Call 778-6456.

Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, 701 West Main Street in Endicott is hosting a rummage sale on July 7th from 9 am to 2 pm.

Recycled Robot Craft is going on at the Vestal Public Library, 320 Vestal Parkway East, on July 8th from 1:30 to 2:45 pm. For children ages 7 to 11. Registration required. Make a robot out of recycled and craft items.

The First Baptist Church of Johnson City, 1321 Reynolds Road, is having Vacation Bible School on July 11th from 9 am to noon. Admission is free. The theme is the International Spy Academy! Sign up now!
