Real Spring temps are here, baseball is back and all is right with the world!

Outdoor and family activities will start kicking into full gear soon and here is a taste of what to look forward to. Take advantage of all the activities we have here in the Southern Tier.

The Harpursville United Methodist Church is hosting a rummage and bake sale today from 4 to 7 pm..

The Valley Social Dance at VFW Post 1536, 932 Lockhart St in Sayre, PA, is tonight from 7 to 11 pm. There will be a dj, refreshments and prizes. Free!

The Towanda Order of the Eastern Star is hosting a penny social at the Leraysville Community Hall tonight at 5 pm. There will be a drawing at 7pm. Lots of camo, hunting and fishing gear. Door Prizes and refreshments.

The Friday Night dinner at the Endicott Elks features Liver & Onions and a Lenten special along with their regular menu. Serving from 5 to 8 pm.

UE Softball’s Casino Night is Saturday from 7 to 11 pm at Our Lady of Good Counsell. Includes food, beer, wine and soda.

Enjoy the annual Aqua Egg Hunt at the West Family YMCA on Saturday! The first session is at 4 pm and the second at 5. The Easter Bunny will be on hand. Register in advance by calling 770-9622.

Healing House is having an awareness event on April 6th at the Holiday Inn Downtown Binghamton from 11 am to 2 pm. This is a free event to bring awareness and education about sexual abuse. Find out how Healing House helps victims.

There’s a model train show and sale at the Hawley Fire Department, 17 Columbus Ave in Hawley, Pa on April 6th from 9 am to 3 pm. This a great hobby to pass on to the kids!

Under my Skin For Life is preparing for a fundraiser to upgrade the Wickwire Community Pool. They are looking for craft vendors, local organizations, sponsors, family friendly entertainment, volunteers and more. To help with this June 27th through 29th event, call 310-8487.
