It's time to shake the cabin fever off and get out. Snow or no snow, we are ready! So, here are plenty of ideas.

One thing to note are the upcoming blood drives. the need is very, very great.

First up,  there will be a charity billiards tournament, on Saturday at 1 pm to benefit Kim Brown and her unborn daughter, who will need heart surgeries soon after birth.  It will be at American Legion Post 1254, Clinton Street in Binghamton. There will be raffle baskets, music from Rich Birdsall from 98.1 The Hawk and WBNG-TV will be on hand.

The Endicott Elks Friday night dinner features chicken and biscuits along with the regular menu. Serving from 5-8 pm. From 8 to 11 pm, Butch and Bobby Neira perform for a Valentine’s Day of music and dancing.

Tonight, American Legion Auxiliary Unit 376 Oxford is hosting a Valentine’s Day Dance at the Legion from 8 to 11 pm! There will be a dj, raffles, plenty of food to choose from and more. Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 at the door. Benefits the building fund.  On Saturday at the Legion, the Sons of the American Legion host a chicken bbq starting at 9 am til gone.

The Maine American Legion Post 1390 is having an all you can eat chicken and biscuit dinner on Saturday from 4 to 7 pm.

There is a benefit for Oxford resident Lisa Lounsbury, who is battling brain cancer, at the Oxford American Legion Home on Sunday from 7:30 to 11 am.  Sponsored by the American Legion, it is a community breakfast with a bake sale and 50/50 raffle.  Take outs are available.

There’s a Samson’s Coffee House at Our Saviour Lutheran Church, 731 Hooper Road, Endwell, on Saturday from 7 to 9 pm. Christian music and light refreshment.

The monthly Contemporary Singles Meeting is February 18th at 7 pm at the Endicott Visitors Center. All singles are welcome!

The Binghamton after 5 Dinner is Tuesday the 18th from 6:15 to 8:15 pm at the Relief Pitcher. There will be a speaker, music and a representative from the Salt Sanctuary. Call 669-4211 for reservations.

The American Red Cross will have blood drives throughout the month including:

Wednesday at the conference room of the red Cross at 620 East Main Street in Endicott from noon to 6 pm.

Thursday from 1 to 6 pm at the Our Savior Lutheran Church, 731 Hooper Road in Endwell.

Friday the 21st, from 8 am to 2 pm,  at the UHS Wilson Medical Center Picciano Building. Also at Windsor United Methodist Church, 56 Chapel Street, from 1 to 6 pm.

February 24th from noon to 6 pm and February 25th from 8 am to 2 pm  at the Lourdes Hospital lecture hall.

February 25th, from 8 am to 1 pm, at Deposit Central School's gym. And from 3 to 7 pm at the Whitney Point High School gym.

February 27th the bloodmobile will be at University Plaza from 11:30 am to 4:30 pm.
