The Church of the Holy Family, 3600 Phyllis Street in Endwell, is having a winter clothing sale with clothing donated by Fabulous Finds today from 9 am to 6 pm with a bag sale from 3 to 6.

The Endicott Elks Friday night dinner is steak along with their regular menu. Serves from 5 to 7 pm, then Don Miller and Al Green perform from 8 to 11 pm.

The Whitney Point American Legion Auxiliary Post 974, is having a meatloaf dinner on Saturday from 4 pm until sold out.

The Czechoslovak Moravian Club and German Club is combining to hold a Mardi Gras celebration at the German Club, 218 Loughlin Rd in Binghamton, on Saturday from 4 to 8 pm. There will be ethic foods, dancers and live music by Alpski. Admission is $5 at the door.

A Manicotti Parm Dinner to benefit the Apalachin Library is February 22 from 4 to 8 pm at the Blue Dolphin Restaurant on Route 434. Tickets are now available at the Apalachin Library, 719 Main Street.

Messy Adventures on the Hilltop is Sunday from 1 to 3 pm at the Seventh Day Adventist Church, 834 Bunn Hill Rd in Vestal. Bring the family for a day packed with fun.

The Maine American Legion is having a chicken in the snow bbq on Saturday from noon until sold out!

A trash & treasure rummage sale to benefit the Berkshire Free Library is Friday and Saturday at the Berkshire Community Hall on Jewett Hill Road from 9 am to 4 pm.

Free Income Tax Assistance is available at several locations in Broome County for those with low or middle incomes, especially those 60 and older. For locations and appointments, call 625-2658

The United Way is also offering free tax preparation services for those eligible. Dial 2-1-1 for more information.

Did you know youth in New York ages 10 and up are required to complete a Young Boater Safety Training Course to operate watercraft in NY? The next session is February 11 through 15 during the Central NY Boat Show at the State fairgrounds in Syracuse. Register by calling 315-312-3042 now. Courses are the 11th from 6 to 8 pm and the 14th from 9 am to 2:30 pm.
