What’s Happening in Binghamton This Weekend

It's time for Halloween and Harvest fun! There is plenty to go around in the Southern Tier! Here is a sample of what's up this weekend.

The Troy Volunteer Fire Department,88 Firehouse Drive in Troy,PA, is hosting their annual craft show on Saturday from 10 am to 3 pm. The proceeds benefit the purchase of equipment.

The Halloween Pet Parade is Saturday from 10 am to noon at the JC Elks Lodge, 4212 Watson Blvd. Dress up your pet! There will be raffles, food, prizes and more. Proceeds will help buy a bullet proof vest for our newest K9 officer!

The Endicott Elks Friday night dinner is chicken parmesan by guest chef Tanya from 5 to 7 pm. The regular menu is also available. Serves from 5 to 7 pm.

The Seventh Day Adventist Church, 834 Bunn Hill Rd in Vestal, is having a multifamily sale on Sunday from 9 am to 3 pm. Proceeds benefit the youth group.

Monster Bash 2014 will be at the Newark Valley Fire Department, 7151 Route 38, on Saturday from noon to 6:30 pm. The community is welcome to this free admission event featuring hay rides, games, vendors, food, costume contest, dunking booth, and much more. Family friendly costumes are encouraged!

The annual Endwell Fire Auxiliary craft fair is Saturday from 10 am to 3 pm at the fire house, 3508 Country Club Road.

Immanuel Presbyterian Church, 549 Chenango Street in Binghamton, host a luncheon on Saturday from 11:30 am to 1 pm.

The Campville Fire department is having a Fall pancake breakfast on Sunday. Kids can check out the fire trucks and blood pressure screenings will be available.

VINES is hosting a garlic planting workshop on Saturday from 1 to 4 pm at the urban farm, 16 Tudor Street in Binghamton.

St. Margaret Mary Church, 1100 Pennsylvania Ave in Apalachin, is having their annual harvest dinner on Friday from 4:30 to 7 pm. Take outs available.

The Binghamton Moose Lodge is having a chicken bbq benefit on Saturday at 224 Henry Street from noon until sold out. Proceeds benefit Moose and Eagles member Penny garner who suffered a severe head injury.

Our Savior Lutheran Church, 731 Hooper Rd in Endwell, is having their monthly Samson's Coffee House on Saturday from 7-9 with live music. Free admission.

The Community Baptist Church, 743 Chenango Street in port Dickinson, is having a rummage and bake sale on Saturday from 9 am to 1 pm with a bag sale at noon.

Applications for Thanksgiving and Christmas holiday food are being accepted through October 31st. Low to moderate income Owego residents can apply. Residents may also register for gifts for all Tioga County children, ages infant to 18. Contact Sister Mary O'Brien at 687-3021.

The Binghamton After 5 Special Guest Night Dinner (men are invited) is Tuesday from 6:15 to 8:15 pm at the Relief Pitcher, 197 Conklin Avenue. Call pat for reservations. 770-9142. The program features James O' Byron who worked at the Pentagon on September 11, 2001.
