  • Mystery Dinner Theater returns to Owego United Methodist Church, 261 Main Street, Owego, November 6th and 7th at 6pm with “Murder at the Banquet.” For more information call the church office at 687-2417.
  • The West Corners Lions Club will be holding a Turkey Party Saturday November 7th at the Elks Club in Endicott Admission is $8 includes food and beverage all night, proceeds go to the community.

  • Vestal United Methodist Church hosts a Hooked Rug Show, November 6th from 10 to 7, and November 7th from 10 to 4 at 328 Main Street, Vestal.
  • Holy Spirit Church Center, 360 Clinton Street, Binghamton is having a rummage sale, November 6th from 9 to 1 and from 4 to 7 with a bag sale from 6 to 7.
  • Community Baptist Church, 743 Chenango Street, Binghamton hosts Church Women United World Day of Community, November 6th from 10am to noon. Guests from the American Civic Association, plus a buffet lunch. All are welcome. Call 722-1510 for more information.
  • North Fenton United Methodist Church, Route 79, is having an election day bazaar on November 3rd from 11am to 7pm. Food, crafts, and baked goods.
  • The Major’s Inn, Gilbertsville, hosts the Joyful Traditions Bazaar, on November 6th and 7th from 10 to 4 with lunch available both days. Call 783-2393 for more information or visit the majors inn dot com.
  • It’s a Holly Day Fair, November 6th and 7th from 9 to 4 at Our Lady of Good Counsel Parish Center, 701 West Main Street, Endicott. Handmade crafts and gifts, collectibles, a quilt raffle, bake sale and food. Lunch served from 11 to 2.
  • There will be a benefit for Cindy Fiorini – who is fighting ovarian cancer – on November 7th from 4 to 8pm at the Sons of Italy hall in Endicott. Pasta dinner tickets are ten dollars each.   • The Union Endicott Office Personnel Association Craft Show is November 7th from 9 to 3 at Jennie F. Snapp Middle School, 101 Loder Ave, Endicott. Over 75 crafters, food, beverages and raffle. Proceeds benefit the school and community assistance program.
  • All Saints Church, 42 Harry L. Drive, Johnson City is having a Casino/Turkey Party, November 7th from 5 to 8:30pm. Seven dollar admission includes food and drink. No minors.
  • Port Crane Fire Station – across from Chenango Valley State Park – is holding a Turkey Raffle, November 7th beginning at 6pm. Food and many great door prizes. Admission is five dollars per person. Preschoolers free.
  • The Endicott Elks Friday night dinner special, November 13th from 5 to 7:30pm is Roast Pork & Dressing along with their regular menu. Cost is 8-95. Then from 8 to 11pm music from Band of Gold. All are welcome.
  • The Four County Library System Cybermobile will be at Saint Mark’s Episcopal Church in Chenango Bridge on November 10th from 10 to 10:45am, and at various locations on November 12th. Call 723-8236 for locations and times.
  • The Northern Broom Senior Center, 12 Strong Place, Whitney Point, is holding its Annual Craft Bazaar, November 7th from 9 until 2. Lunch will be served. Tables still available for ten dollars by calling 692-3405.
  • The Ladies Ancient Order of Hibernians is sponsoring a murder mystery dinner theater: “Murder Can Be Habit Forming” on November 7th at Saint John’s and Andrews Church Hall, Vestal Ave. Binghamton.   • Sanitaria Springs Fire Company is having a Ham/Turkey Raffle, Saturday, November 14th at 7pm. Doors open at 6. Donation at the door is five dollars. Drawings, food and fun!
  • The Endicott Elks is having a Breakfast Buffet on Sunday, November 15th from 8 to 11 a.m. Eggs, bacon, sausage, pancakes and more. Seven-fifty for adults, children 5 to 12 are four dollars, children under four are free. All are welcome.
  • The Tioga County Chamber of Commerce hosts a breakfast edition of Bite-Sized Pursuits on the topic “Are You Paying Too Much Income Tax? Ten Tips for Individuals to Save” on November 19th from 8 to 9 a.m. at Owego’s Parkview Restaurant, 145 Front Street. Admission is ten dollars, seven dollars for Tioga Chamber members.
