What to Get Mom for Mother’s Day

Have you decided on what to get mom yet for mother's day? Well, there are the usual gifts of flowers, a card with scratch off tickets, or maybe candy. But maybe it's time to think out of the box.

How about taking mom to Animal Adventure to see April and her new son? Or you can take mom to a casino like Tioga Downs, Turning Stone or Mohegan Sun. But if you take mom gambling, you really should give her some money to play with. And if she wins hopefully she will share it with you but if not, remember it's Mother's Day and let her keep it.

You can pamper mom with a gift certificate for a spa or with a massage therapist. Or how about a Sunday Brunch? Just make sure you call for reservations first. That would be bad if you took mom out for a nice meal only to get turned away. If your mom is into wines, you can take her to one of the Finger Lakes and do a wine tour.
