Welcome Winter (and All That Comes With It)

While this morning's winter weather burst wasn't much of a storm, you know we have much more to look forward to, given that the season has only just begun. I, of course, am not happy.

As you may have gathered over the years, I am not a fan of winter. The snow, ice, slush, cold and so on, are not something I prefer, but I do realize the are those who do. Like skiers and snowboarders for example. So to you, I say welcome to your favorite season!

Yes I know, if you don't like the weather, just move. Maybe when I retire, I'll become one of those 'Snowbirds.' For those who aren't aware of term, those are people who have retired and spend summers in the North and winters in the South or Southwest. That, my friend, is my goal. A big RV tricked out with all the gadgets you can possibly fit into it. Now I just have to come up with the money to pay for it!

Oh well, as I say at this time every year, "bah-humbug"!
