With that kind of title, the obvious doesn't always escape me, especially when it comes to the four seasons.

Last night at 11:48pm, Fall 2015 ceased to exist. It went quietly though, at least in this part of the country. We've been having unusual warmer than normal temperatures, and that's just fine for me.

Many of you know I'm strictly a Summer person, with a side of late Spring and early Fall. I even have a countdown clock on my desk to let me know just how close (or far away) Spring 2016 is. Yes, that's a bit sad.

We've been lucky to enjoy some sunny and quite warm days this Fall, and I should be completely happy, but actually, I'm a bit torn.

I have friends and relatives who love Winter, and like to ski, snowboard, snowmobile and make money plowing. Hopefully for those of you who fall into those categories, snow and cold will appear at times this Winter to give you some happiness.

Welcome to Winter 2015/16. For me, I'm hoping El Nino will keep us on the warmer, dryer side as some have predicted, and let's get closer to Summer as quickly as possible.
