I thought imposing a limit on the soda size you bought in New York City was bad enough, but Washington, DC is now attempting to become a "nanny state" with its latest proposal.

The DC Health Department says that because some people get impulse tattoos and regret the later, they want to impose a 24 hour waiting period on the ink. Tattoo parlors rely on walk-ins for the bulk of their business, so this could kill the industry in the City.

Personally, if someone walks in and gets a tattoo they regret later, it's their problem. Why should other people pay for one idiot's bad decision. What te hell happened to people being responsible for themselves?

What do you think?
