Boy are people going nuts about the selfie the President, British Prime Minister David Cameron and Danish Prime Minister Helle Thorning-Schmidt took at the Nelson Mandela memorial service.

My take on it is this: as a world leader, you are held to higher standards and you should act more respectful and dignified than the norm. Honestly, before now, I can't remember any President anything but "regally" during a serious event such as the memorial of a man who changed history.

Even President Clinton, who had a blast on late night talk shows (playing his sax) while in office, was very proper at events.

My opinion doesn't matter, however. Yours does.
