After a long stretch of games that began in late October, NBA basketball has seen it's last game of this season. The Golden State Warriors are the 2015 Champions with a 105-97 win over the Cleveland Cavaliers last night.

I went on record as saying that Cleveland would win this series, but that was with a healthy Kyrie Irving, and a solid performance from supporting players, both of which never happened.

Give credit to the Warriors, especially the play of Steph Curry and Andre Iguodala. Both were key in the last three consecutive wins in this series.

I watched three quarters of game six and it was obvious to me that the Cavs were out manned, without Kevin Love and Irving they needed help from the other players. This is something they never got. JR Smith was 5 for 15 to add to his horrible performance in the finals and Mathew Dellavedova, had one point in 26 minutes of play.

Lebron's return to Cleveland this year gave fans hope for their first professional title since the 1964 Browns, but this morning the city is shocked and talking about next year.

The Warriors has the right stuff this year, and I'm happy for one of my favorite former New York Knicks David Lee, who will get a ring.

In closing I will again say Lebron James is the best player in basketball and leave you with this cliche, "There is no 'I' in team".
