The 2018 Greater Binghamton Airshow is just over a month away and they still need volunteers. The air show itself is Saturday, June 23rd. from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. up at The Greater Binghamton Airport. Volunteers are needed to help make sure the air show is successful.

You must apply to become a volunteer and applications need to be submitted by June 1st. (that's two weeks from Friday). According to the Airshow page on the Fly BGM website, they are still looking for volunteers to help with admissions, flight line, hospitality, the static display area, and volunteers to help set up and tear down the day before, and the day after.

It's a great way to help the community while getting into the air show for free. You will also receive a t-shirt to remember the event by.

According to County Executive Jason Garner's press conference held at the airport in March, the event will be headlined by the US Army Golden Knights Parachute Team and the US Air Force A-10 demonstration team. The air show is being made possible because of the sponsorship of Jeff Gural, President, CEO, and owner of Tioga Downs Casino.

If you would like to volunteer or get more information on the Greater Binghamton Airshow, visit the Fly BGM website.
