Construction of the new retail project on the Vestal Parkway started last spring with the demolition of the iconic building that once housed the Ken Wilson Chevrolet showroom.

A senior project manager for White Plains-based Kings Capital Construction said work on the site adjacent to the Town Square Mall is nearing completion.

A Chili's Bar and Grill restaurant will be located on the east end of the project, closest to the intersection of the Parkway and Sycamore Road. A Red Robin Gourmet Burgers restaurant will be on the other end of the development.

The restaurants will be separated by four businesses, including a Sleep Number bedding store and a Vitamin Shoppe outlet. Also in the development's center building will be a Five Star Urgent Care walk-in clinic and an Aspen Dental office.

Official opening dates have not been made public by the businesses, although they are expected to be in operation by late January or early February.
