United Way of Broome County’s Veteran Supply Drive Is Underway

There is never a bad time to give a care package to a military veteran. There are so many veterans here in the Southern Tier and to show our gratitude, the United Way's Annual Supply Drive has officially begun!

Broome County veterans are in need of many things and the United Way has share a list of items they are collecting this holiday season. The list includes:

• Scarves/hats/gloves
• Socks
• Toothpaste/toothbrushes
• Shaving cream/razors
• Shampoo/conditioner
• Gift cards for groceries and gas

Please keep in mind that these items should be new, not used.

You can drop these supplies off until January 30th at the following locations:

• Miller Auto on the Vestal Parkway
• Veterans Services Office at the BU Main Campus
• United Way of Broome County, 101 Jensen Road in Vestal

Veterans have sacrificed so much for our freedoms, so how about saying thank you in this generous way?
