A little while before Animals bassist, Chas Chandler, discovered the real Jimi and started a fire under the international music scene's butt cheeks with the Experience, Jimi Hendrix played with a ton of other musicians.

During the 60's he played with the greats like Little Richard and the Isley Brothers and managed to get himself into a horrible contract with crappy label executive Ed Chalpin while playing with Curtis Knight & the Squires.

I digress, while Jimi was in Curtis Knight & the Squires he recorded a track called, Station Break. The song has just appeared online after 50 years and sees him sticking to a more restrained style that hints at his signature sound of the late 60's.

Also, he was wearing a pretty awesome jacket!
