Under the Covers With Holly Dagger

Phish is notorious for throwing random covers of songs into their set list and their New Year’s Eve show in New York City was no different. Below you can hear their version of Black Sabbath’s “Iron Man.” I was a little skeptical at first seeing as Phish is primarily known as a jam band and compared to The Grateful dead, however they continue to show their talents as musicians with off the wall covers such as this. Not bad for a bunch of hippies! What do you think? Let me know below.

2013 is the 30th year of Phish- congrats for making it this long, unfortunately not all bands can say the same!
