Turn Off of the Week: Dependency

There is quite the difference between having a relationship with someone that is mutually dependent and one that is entirely dependent.

If there is a give and take in a relationship I'm all for it but I don't need and/or want to be your mother. I didn't birth you and if I did, we would not be in a relationship.

I have dated several men in the past where they thought it was okay to just let me take care of pretty much everything. Not only is this frustrating to me but it also demeans your masculinity. If I wanted a child, I would have one. Be a man and let me know you are one- after all, that's part of the reason we started dating in the first place isn't it?
