Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers Rocked Big Wally at The Arena

A Few years ago I got myself some tickets to go and see Tom Petty and the Heartbreaker's at the arena. It was one of the perks of working at 99.1 The Whale.

I can't believe I was actually trying to get outta going. But I called my friend Ritchie, knowing that a Led Zepplin, Def Leopard, Lynryrd Skynyrd fan, would most certainly turn down the opportunity to see this Jacksonville 'soft rocker.'

To my surprise Rich wanted to go, and go we did... and we have an awesome time!! It was the last stop on Petty's tour, and it was clear at the end of the show, when he came out for his second encore, that he was a little on the drunk side. It Was AWESOME!

I was hooked on Tom Petty after that, and I wanted to know so much more about this Jacksonville,  'HARD ROCKER!'
