Twin Tiers residents are finding the return to some brisk conditions.  The National Weather Service had issued a Freeze Warning for the entire region for October 11, cautioning that sensitive plant could be killed by frost.  Readings around the area ranged from about 32 to 36 early on October 11 and dropped a little more as the morning progressed.

Some motorists found they had to take a little time to scrape windshields.

Also, emergency services officials remind residents as the heating season is about to get underway, to make sure their furnaces, fireplaces and woodstoves are serviced and inspected.  House fires often increase with the start of colder temperatures.
