Throwback Thursday – The Gong Show

The Gong Show ran in the mid 1970's, I remember it was on during the day so we would catch it after school.

Chuck Barris was the host, and at that time I never realized that he was the creator of other TV game shows, including the Newlywed Game and the Dating Game.

I liked the show because most of the time the contestants would be incredibly untalented which made it funny. Sometimes you would even see a really talented act.
