Back in the late 60s, Hasbro made a line of gumball banks for kids. They were a lot like the ones we had in stores and outside shops around town. You know the ones in which you would pay a penny for a gumball.

What was cool about these gumball banks is you got to keep the money!

Kids would put the banks out at home gatherings or even around their neighborhood, and many times people would buy gumballs.
