Throwback Thursday gives us a chance to revisit a piece of history and the opportunity for me to revisit some of my personal past.

In the early 1970’s there was a popular game called, 'Pivot Pool'. It was set up very much like a real pool table but on a smaller scale.

The game was played much like a regular game of pool, however the cue ball was shot out of a spring loaded device and had to be put back into the device each time.

This was a fun game and also had some memorable commercials featuring comedic legends, Lucille Ball and Jerry Lewis.

I’m really not sure if kids today would enjoy this game, but I sure did! I remember getting a 'Pivot Pool' for Christmas one year and we played with that thing all day long.

So there you have it, my Throwback Thursday memory, 'Pivot Pool'.
