The show ran from 1972 till its epic viewing finale on February 28,1983, the series captured the daily routines of a Mobile Army Surgical Unit during the Korean War.

Mostly hilarious but often the show would interject real life situations, and the casualties of war.

I loved this show and watched most of the shows run.

I always found the main character Benjamin 'Hawkeye' Pierce to be real, Alan Alda did such a great job in his portrayal.

The constant heckling of Frank Burns from Pierce and Hunnicut, brought some of the funniest moments in the show's run.

One of the most dramatic episodes involved Hawkeye talking to the psychiatrist about a woman holding a clucking chicken on a bus going through hostile territory, and the chicken was making a lot of noise so the woman smothered it, and at the end we find out it wasn't a chicken, but the woman's child.

I think anyone who watched the show enjoyed it.

My Throwback Thursday memory, 'M*A*S*H.
