Throwback Thursday: Babe Ruth [VIDEO]

One notable Yankee (Derek Jeter) is retiring this year, so I thought we'd focus one from the past.

Babe Ruth's legend is huge. He is the gold standard of ball players. On this date in 1929, Babe Ruth hit his second grand slam in as many games. A Major League record. He lived up to the legend.

My favorite story is his calling his homer. Well, here is Babe himself telling the story! I can't believe we actually have audio and film of the Great Bambino. It makes him more real and within reach to understand.
