Throwback Thursday – Transistor Radio [VIDEO]

This original portable music machine was developed in the 50's and became the biggest electronic device throughout the 1960's and 1970's.

The transistor radio allowed people to take their music with them anywhere! You might say it was the first cordless device of its kind.

I remember climbing into bed at night with the little ear plug and falling asleep listening to my favorite songs on the radio.
