It's time to highlight another big toy from the 1960's. It bounces like no other ball and it required no power source or a computer chip.

The "Super Ball" created in the 1960's and sold by Wham-O, revolutionized the plain bouncy ball that most kids played with. In the first year Wham-O sold over 6 million Super Balls!

This was a cool toy that you could bounce hard off the sidewalk or playground and it would go so high in the air you could barely see it.

There have been replicas made as recent as 2001, but none will ever compare to the original.

So there you have it, my Throwback Thursday, the "Super Ball".
