A pizza delivery man was beaten and robbed by men as he brought food into a Binghamton neighborhood.

Police have charged three men in connection with the incident on the city's North Side.

Authorities say 19-year-old Rashaun Godbay and 18-year-old Stefphon Godbay of 500 Chenango Street were arrested. The third suspect was identified as 19-year-old Thomas Decker of Harrison Avenue, Endicott.

The robbery occurred near 3 Cary Street just before 1 a.m. Wednesday. The Domino's Pizza driver was approached by two men who claimed they were customers.

Investigators say one man took the food and the other punched the driver in the head and face.

The suspects fled on foot and entered an apartment building on Chenango Street. One of the men was nabbed by police officers. The two others were taken into custody later.

All three men have been charged with second-degree robbery. They were arraigned in Binghamton City Court and sent to Broome County Jail.
