There are things to rejoice about being banned from the World Cup and things that will bum you out.

When the World Cup was held in South Africa in 2010, the world learned about the Vuvuzela. It's long horn that makes a monotone sound. It was all the craze. So were the traditional bare boobed ladies.

Neither is allowed at World Cup this year.  Bummer! No horns and no women running around rooting for their team with it all hanging out. Apparently, both were "disturbing" at the 2010 event.

The soccer authorities added some other things to the list that make me scratch my head: fireworks, food (yep, food!), and megaphones. But bringing your dog to the event so it can run on the pitch is ok. That's pretty commonplace.

Gotta love this sport.
