The Who – Classic Rock Throwback Thursday

Welcome back to Throwback Thursday, Classic Rock style. The Whale Time Machine is set to go back to July 14th, 1967. We're going to land in Portland, Oregon.

It was there at the Memorial Coliseum where the Herman's Hermits were headlining the concert. Their opening act (along with Blues Magoos)  was a band that was on their first concert tour in the U.S..

That band was The Who. The band spent the Summer touring with Herman's Hermits and Blues Magoo, but it wasn't long before they became the headliner with the original crew of Roger Daltry, Pete Townsend, Keith Moon and John Entwistle.
