The Who - Classic Rock Throwback Thursday

It's been a week since we cranked up The Whale Time Machine, so set's hit the switch to the "on' position and take a trip.

This week, we head back to January 28th 1965. We're in the audience (or on the floor if you like to dance) watching The Who perform for the very first time at the 'Ready Steady Go!' program in Britain.

'Ready Steady Go!' was the UK's answer to 'American Bandstand ', and ran for from 1963 to 1966. The show featured many of the day's best musicians including The Beatles, The Kinks, The Hollies, The Yardbirds and many others.

So now that we're comfortably set in 1965, let's enjoy The Who performing My Generation. Get ready, steady, go!
