So we are now in day 4 of our annual Food-a-Bago Food Drive for Broome County CHOW. How are progressing towards our 10 ton goal?

Let's just say, I'm impressed at how well the donations are coming in, given that during the weekday, many people are busy with work and every day family activities. We do have a long way to go, but I think with your help, we can reach that goal.

10 tons of food seems like a lot, but in reality it can go fast, given the fact that there are a lot of families in Broome County who use the services of CHOW. WE are looking for any non-perishable food items, even if you can only spare one item, we appreciate it!

We're in a huge camper provided by Jim's RV in the parking lot of the Weis Food market, 1290 Upper Front Street, Binghamton from 6am to 6pm through Friday, 8am to 8pm Saturday and Sunday, and Monday we'll finish up from 6 to 10am for last minute donations.

A big THANK YOU for your donations and your company...we love it when our listeners stop in and chat with us (it can get lonely sitting in the camper!)

Also thanks to our sponsor - Tall Pines Farm Stoves & Fireplaces, and associate sponsors, Fidelis Care and Ruby & Sons Jewelers.
