The Southern Tier to Build a Casino – Where Should it Go?

Since Prop 1 was voted through on Election Day, the buzz has been about who will get to build a casino in the Southern Tier. My question is: where should it go?

The Castle would've been a perfect site, but since SUNY is renovating it to use for a college building, I am turning my thoughts to Johnson City and Endicott. Both have areas that were once thriving thanks to Endicott Johnson Shoes and IBM, and are in need of revitalization. I was thinking of a warehouse or plant building.

It could showcase the historic aspects of the building while being a large open space for gaming.
