Binghamton’s Saint Patricks Day Parade Runs 47 Years and Is Still The Best

The weather was blustery and cold  that's what you get in early March, but that didn't stop thousands who gathered along Court Street to Main Street to see the 47th annual St Patricks Day Parade in downtown Binghamton.

Having done this parade for several years as a participant I must confessed I have not seen it from a spectators view for years, but it does take me back to my childhood when we had lots of activity in the downtown area, and it was good to see the people lined up along the street applauding and waving, some coming up to us and thanking us for the music.

Binghamton will always hold a special place in my heart, it is unique in its own way.
