The Raymond Corporation – A Great Community Leader

Sometimes we forget that there are some amazing companies in the Southern Tier.
Companies that have a major impact in our community and just as importantly, treat their employees well, fostering a great place to work.

One such company is Raymond Corporation in Greene, NY.

I have had the privilege of being the music entertainment with my mobile DJ company for some of their employee events, including their 90th anniversary celebration this past weekend.

90 Years!
That is an amazing accomplishment.
Even through the recent recession, they toughed it out, and made it through with flying colors.

This company in a small upstate NY town is the World leader of material handling, lift trucks and forklifts. World leader!
Something to be very proud of, and it's because of an amazing employee work ethic.

The 90th anniversary celebration day was open to their company employees and families, followed by an open house for the general public.
Raymond Corporation began the day with inspirational speeches from management, local and statewide dignitaries, followed by a day of food, games, bounce houses for the kids, plant tours and so much more, for free.

As I looked around that day, what struck me most, was the smiles on the faces of the employees, management and the general public.
I suspect they were very appreciative of a company that knows the value of great employees and the community they call home.
