The Good News: Family Turns Cancelled Wedding Into a Party for the Homeless
What does someone do when they get left at the altar? I don't mean to the person that dumped them, but with the reception? They cost a bundle and there all the food sits!
Well, a family in Atlanta turned it into a positive by inviting 200 homeless people to fill the seats. The reception was at a posh setting with a full four course meal and Carol and Willie Fowler, who paid for their daughter's wedding, didn't let it go to waste.
They called the charity "Hosea Feed the Hungry" and before you knew it, the banquet room was full of happy people.
Tamara Fowler may have been left at the altar, but her former groom-to-be blew being part of an exceptional family.
