Once the Great Pumpkin has finished doing whatever he or she does on October 31st, you know what time it is, right? No, I'm not talking about the beginning of the holiday season.

It's time for our annual Food-A-Bago Food Drive for Broome County CHOW to help families in Broome County. This is one event that is only successful with your help.

We will accept any non-perishable food item. Or many.  Even a grocery cart full or two. The Grocery Cart Challenge has been a huge success over the past few years. Basically, a family, organization or business stops by our camper with a grocery cart full of non-perishable food, and then challenges other family members, organizations or businesses. It a fun way to get donations and it's all to benefit Broome County families in need.

We will be located in the parking lot of the Weis Food Market parking lot on Upper Front Street, Binghamton (same place we have been for many years) with a Hillcrest RV camper to fill with non-perishable food.

You can drop off food anytime, (we will have CHOW barrels just outside the camper to place food in) but we will have someone in the camper from 6 am to 6 pm Monday through Friday November 5th through the 9th, 8 am to 8 pm Saturday and Sunday November 10th and 11th, and from 6 am to  10 am on Monday November 12th.

If you are not sure what food items to bring, think what would be a typical meal for a family of four. Items like pasta, any canned food, peanut butter, tuna fish, cereal, baby food, soup, etc. We can help you with a list at the camper.

So, can you help us help feed families in Broome County? Stop by beginning Monday November 5th. We could use your company..and a food item!
