The British Government Wants Citizens to Overshare

Chris Jackson/Getty Images

I think one of the biggest problems with social network sites is the over sharing.

I don’t want to know about your bunion, how drunk you got, or the boil on your tush! it you live in the UK, though, even the government wants you to be TMI!

The British government is trying to get a handle on a very contagious norovirus by asking you to take a picture of your vomit when you are sick with the virus. Yes, they feel the need to know what the texture, color and all that other gross detail is so they can understand the bug more scientifically.

I’m sorry, but that is over the top. Would you share that if the government asked?

Thank you CNET for publishing this, now I won’t be able to think about food for days.
