Hey, what are you doing Sunday night? It's New Year's Eve, and before you say it's just another night, you should still take advantage of the fact that you're off on Monday, and go out and have a good time with us. You don't have to make any New Year's resolutions, and you don't have to travel all the way to Times Square to watch the ball drop.

I'm going to be emceeing the third annual Binghamton Ball Drop on State Street in Downtown Binghamton next to Social on State. The fun gets underway at 8 pm and goes until three in the morning. There will be DJs playing your favorite music under two heated tents. I'm told the temperature in the tents will be around 70 degrees, so you don't have to worry about the cold weather, you will be nice and warm.

There's going to be some drink specials hats noise makers then the ball will drop to ring in 2018. That will be followed by a confetti blizzard and then fireworks sponsored by Visions Federal Credit Union. Tickets are just $15 if you get them in advance, and they will be $20 at the door. You can get your advance tickets at Social on State, 201 State Street in Binghamton, or here at the radio station's offices at 59 Court Street in Binghamton, from 8 a.m. till 5 p.m. through Friday.
