The 28th Annual Whale Bowl of Rock-n-Roll Is About to Begin

The Whale Bowl of Rock-n-Roll defending champ is Pink Floyd. It was a blowout over Bob Seger last year. Will they repeat?

The 28th annal Whale Bowl of Rock-n-Roll is ready to go beginning this Wednesday. It's set in a playoff format, similar to the sports world, except we pit Classic Rock artists and groups against each other instead of sports teams, and you vote who gets to move on to the next round.

We have 16- 'Opening Round' battles, 8- 'Classic Rock' battles, 4- 'Classic Rock Final' battles, 2- 'Classic Rock Big 4' battles and 1- 'Whale Bowl Championship' battle for the 2015 championship title.

The beauty of it is, you determine what band or artist moves on. It's all about your votes! The Whale Line to call in your vote will be 607-723-9996. We will let you know each hour what time to begin and when voting ends, in addition to letting you know who the bands/artists are in each round.We'll also keep you informed via our Facebook page at '99.1 The Whale.'
