The 2015 World’s Largest Yard Sale Is a Success [PHOTOS]

Last Saturday, 99.1 The Whale's World's Largest Yard Sale took over the Broome County Fairgrounds in Whitney Point, and we saw lots of smiling faces!

There were of vendors were on hand to sell their wares. From clothes to electronics and things you may have never seen before. I had the chance to take a break from my duties at the yard sale to see just what was for sale. It was an impressive collection of everything you would expect at a yard sale.

I picked up a new set of sunglasses, clip-on sunglasses for my driving glasses (I lost mine about a year ago) , and some toys for my greyhounds, all for less than 20 dollars. I think that was a good deal! It turned out to be a great day for shopping, at least until the yard sale ended. As we tore things down and cleaned up the fairgrounds, the skies opened up and drenched us. It kind of felt good, and cooled us off.
